ABOUT ME!

Hey there! My name is Tyler Rex Oelze. I’m 23 years old and currently live in Nashville, TN with my wife, Ellie. I love all things music and grew up around a family with a strong passion for the art as well. I was classically trained on the piano at a young age and picked up bass guitar in my angsty-teenaged years when I thought I was too cool for piano. Ha! Boy was I wrong. I’m still not cool and piano is indeed one of the best instruments out there! Now I play both professionally and love getting to carry music forward with either instrument whether that be on the road or in the studio.

In my later teenage years, I picked up audio engineering and fell in love with the craft. I mixed the broadcast for Breakaway Ministries in College Station, TX for over 3 years where each Tuesday night we hosted thousands of college students in person and hundreds more online for a time of worship and teaching. From there I stepped on staff at a church as their production and audio director. There I oversaw all things AVL for their Sunday services and mid-week events working in venues with professional-grade systems and consoles.

Around the same time I started working with a close friend and Christian-Pop artist, Claire Leslie, as her Tour Manager and FOH Engineer. We since then have travelled all over the country performing in clubs, theaters, festivals, and arenas.
